SOLVE THE SOURCE is a fee-for-service private practice.
You pay the practice directly for your care. We do not bill or accept payment from private health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or other public health plans. Here is what that means for your payment options and records.
How Payment Works
Your care is arranged directly with you.
Dr. JD Hasenbank assesses your individual needs and works with you on a path toward your goals. Fees are paid directly to SOLVE THE SOURCE, without an insurance company administering the care or payment.
Do you accept insurance?
No. We do not bill private or public health insurance plans, accept payment from them, or communicate with third-party payers about your care.
Can I submit a claim for reimbursement?
We provide a receipt showing the date of service, description of the service, and fee charged. We do not provide a superbill, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, CPT procedure codes, or other insurance claim documentation. We also do not contact an insurer on your behalf.
If your plan requires codes or a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, please understand that we cannot supply them.
Can I use my HSA card?
Yes, you can present an HSA card for payment. SOLVE THE SOURCE completed Stripe’s review and approval process to process HSA card payments as a health care services business.
An HSA card issuer can still decline a transaction, and the ability to use HSA funds depends on whether the particular expense qualifies under the applicable rules. IRS guidance includes fees paid to a chiropractor for medical care among medical expenses. Keep your receipt with your HSA records and check with your HSA administrator or tax adviser if you are unsure about a particular service. If your HSA card is declined, you can use another payment method.
What will my receipt include?
Your receipt will identify the date, service description, and fee charged for your records. It is a record of payment for services, not an insurance claim or superbill.
